I know this can be hard to follow for the newbies. I can assure you there is no "insider" stuff here. You all provide the material. There is no story behind Carnac - I did the first one on January 1st while on line - I wrote it in about 20 minutes. The first one was the easiest when there were not that many people here and everyone "got it". It has gotten harder and harder but usually just when I am running out of ideas someone does something stupid and makes it easier.

The content you mention is actually offered up on templated sites offered by "Number 1 Expert" and was used long before the "original" poster here on AR. The original poster on AR just copied and pasted BEFORE the "perp" on AR.
I think we should not offer accolades to the first at the cut and past trigger any more than the one who uses cut and paste the second time around.
Google the first sentence of blogs by all parties mentioned. Most of their posts have been used by hundreds of others before them. Maybe not on AR but....does it matter. No mention of where "their post's content" came from and all claiming as their own original work.

I would like to see #1 sue #2 for stealing " His Blog". THAT would be original content!

This came from a Google alert for Active Rain. I have seen these for a little while now if I click on the link on top or bottom I see a blogspot blog with a navy blue header but it closes up quickly, so I can't read it, it goes to the Google screen...

Yes...I had a look around at the agents web marketing mentioned in the "piece" ( ka ka?). None have any Google PR (Not that PR is an indicator of much anymore but gives a good idea of what Google bots think of the pages anyway) NOTHING connected with the agent has any "Google worth". Here is an excerpt that does not mention the agent or agency. Is hunting a big thing in Massachusetts?
In all fairness, it is not typically an agent that does this sort of thing. It is they SEO that has gotten them on the hook with promises of increased ranking (Rarely happens) in exchange for forever increasing amounts of money (extortion?). I have yet to find and SEO company touting first page this or that, that actually has the ability to do someting lasting to anyones web performance. If you are not willing or capable of doing it yourself, dont do it at all. You will get ripped off EVERY TIME. The problem is that we area a NOW society and web placement does not happen overnight.

I think you are right I would bet the agent is paying someone to do that for him, to him. Sad. I had opened a bunch like that recently and until I kinda sorta recognized Carnac I was not paying that much attention to what Google Alerts they were on, whether it was related to ActiveRain.
